THINK ABOUT JEWELRY
Share

A few customers recently came to the Canton Fair and stopped by our showroom on the way. Fate really does bring people together from far away—I love that kind of coincidence.
I haven’t updated in a while. Life has been ordinary, in the normal way. So here’s a small update, and a few recent thoughts.
I used to think the beauty of jewelry had to be seen. Now I’d rather it be heard. Before we say a word, it has already spoken for us—to others, and back to us. In this age that looks so free, the quieter freedom is becoming more ourselves. All the “you should” and “you must” in other people’s mouths quietly put a frame around us.

Jewelry has never been only decoration. It’s an outlet for what we carry inside. Many finely made pieces require handmade adjustments where every detail has to fit exactly. A complex piece can take months of carving and refining. It’s not only about texture; it’s also about giving the heart a place to rest in this glittering, restless world.
You don’t have to be gentle. You don’t have to be strong. There are no standard answers on the exam of life. As long as we haven’t handed in the paper, we can keep writing. A woman should live as the version of herself she likes. When you put on jewelry you love, it becomes your energy field.

A few recent customer photos—ordinary, and lovely.
